Description

Axios works closely with private and public sector healthcare stakeholders to help establish and/or strengthen their presence in emerging markets, while ensuring that patient outcomes are met. The Senior Associate will work across a broad range of access strategy consultancy assignments and manage multiple patient support program(s) and local operations in Thailand.

The Senior Associate role requires a combination of commercial and analytical skills to deliver innovative solutions to Axios’ clients. Senior Associates will assist in driving recommendations and work directly with senior team members to implement change. The jobholder is required to help represent Axios in daily meetings with clients, doctors and carry out operations management duties which will be both field and office based.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Consultancy group across a broad range of access strategy, communications and research assignments.
  • Building and conducting simple financial models to evaluate the economic impact of market access initiatives
  • Conducting competitive analyses to be considered in the development of market access strategies
  • Generate meaningful qualitative and quantitative results for consultancy projects through market research results, conducting desk research and/or interviewing 3rd parties.
  • Analysing and synthesizing all research findings – qualitative and quantitative – to identify key
  • market implications and strategic challenges
  • Support development, implementation and management of strategic consultancy plans to support clients’ projects and Axios in country activities.
  • Lead business development and sales planning efforts in Thailand, including proposal and marketing material development.
  • Effectively oversee the management of\ patient support program(s) by coordinating with local staff, liaising with Clients, as well as institutions including hospitals, insurances, NGO’s, charities, distributors, pharmacy chains, health authorities, physicians, nurses and patients. 
  • Facilitate business review meetings with the operations team and present key findings to senior management
  • As appropriate attend meetings, conferences and program trainings.

 

Relationships

  • Reports to Director, Global Consulting 
  • Management of direct reports (Patient Care Lead, Partner Relations Liaison, Medication Support Liaison)
  • Develop excellent relationships with clients as well as governmental agencies, NGO’s, patient communities and other key stakeholders
  • Work with the various divisions of Axios ensuring smooth communications. 
  • Develop good relations across all levels in Axios, as well as clients and key stakeholders.

Educational Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree level education with an interest in Global Health issues
  • Master’s Business Administration (MBA) from a well-reputed institution is an advantage
  • 2-3 year’s professional experience within the Healthcare or management consulting context is an advantage.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Strong competency in Excel, PowerPoint and the full MS Office Suite.

Job Circumstances

  • Possible international travel.
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential.
