Description
As an Accounting assistant, you will provide financial, administrative and accounting support by processing invoices and payments, verifying and reconciling invoices. Handles day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process payments, Invoices as well as other accounting documents
- Issue invoices to customers
- Track payments and unpaid invoices
- Reconcile invoices received with billings
- Review employee expenses and make reimbursements
- Track expenses as they relate to specific projects
- Validate invoices against items or services received
- Check all financial transactions for accuracy
- Key data into company accounting system
- Maintains historical records
- Continue to improve the payment process
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Banking/Logistic/Transportation/Business Studies/Administration/Management/Commerce or equivalent.
- Must have 1-4 years working experience in the financial and logistics industry or any related field
- Knowledgeable in MS Excel, MS office and CRM software (ie. Hubspot), Quickbook and other accounting software
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Must be very keen to details and with high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under tighten timeline
- Must have initiative, perseverance, organized and strong attention to details
- Good English communication skill, both written and spoken
- Good communication and interpersonal skill, teamwork skill and obedience to arrangements
- Strong sense of responsibility and time management skill
