Description

  • Initially he/she will assess current financial and accounting procedures, set up compliance and standardization for the Group, and work closely domestically with the expatriate team and internationally with the Country Managers.
  • Assisting in the bidding process and centralization of RFQ information/pricing.
  • He/she will be responsible for the overall financial and accounting responsibilities, including all back office functions - supporting the Managing Director with tactical plans in instigating of monitoring systems and the completion of accounting duties by deadlines.
  • Being responsible for the financial and commercial movements of the business division, growth of EBITA and cash flows.
  • Identifying clear business and financial goals, enabling the company to accelerate and maximize the achievement of revenue.
  • Being accountable for all financial cost analysis, the accuracy of the pricing operations and assurance of high quality of financial data investigations.
  • Mediating with internal and external auditors and ensuring procedures meet associated taxation regulations.
  • Creating overviews of taxation plans and the preparation of tax requirements.
  • Maintaining relationships with legal and government departments and constantly liaising with other related outside bodies.
  • Looking at M&A going forward and assisting with international exponential growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, with experience in a service industry (preferably logistics or heavy machinery background).
  • The successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Superior diplomacy and experience in dealing at top management level in relation to financial, legal and business aspects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with leadership quality and supreme management ability to communicate with all level of staff members. 
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Potentially some experience in working in an audit firm.
  • Expatriate only.
  • Late 30s to early 40s.
  • Good understanding of cultural sensitivities in the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Must be willing to live and work in Laemchabang.
  • Must be able to travel extensively throughout Asia Pacific and beyond.
